Good to know
The HOTEL LIEBE SONNE in Sölden is located right in the centre of Sölden and just two minutes from the Giggijochbahn cable car. No matter what you are planning in Sölden - whether you are planning a skiing holiday, a hiking holiday or a pleasure trip - the HOTEL LIEBE SONNE scores with its absolutely prime location in the middle of Sölden.
You are probably familiar with Sölden as a World Cup community. Sölden is located in the middle of the Ötztal valley, around 30 minutes by car from the Inntal valley. The Ötztal is considered one of the most beautiful valleys in Tyrol due to its scenic beauty - it is particularly rugged, unspoilt and at the same time sun-drenched. The Ötztal mountains are characterised by their diversity. The Sölden ski area is one of the most demanding ski areas with many challenges, even for experienced skiers.
Of course, it all depends on the time of year and the weather. Sölden is predestined for your summer holiday in Tyrol. This can be a hiking holiday, a biking trip or an "active holiday" in the mountains. Winter sports are traditionally very important in Sölden: whether skiing or snowboarding, cross-country skiing or ice skating - winter sports fans will definitely get their money's worth in Ötztal. Due to our altitude, we can guarantee snow until the beginning of May.
Yes, the HOTEL LIEBE SONNE offers both a garage and charging stations for electric cars. You can park your car safely in our hotel garage and charge it conveniently at the available charging stations. So you can enjoy your stay carefree and be mobile at all times.
The HOTEL LIEBE SONNE in Sölden is designed to be a feel-good place for our guests. We especially welcome couples who want to take a break from everyday life. Small groups of friends who want to ski together or enjoy the après-ski in Sölden are also often among our guests. Families with slightly older children - big enough to enjoy the piste and mountain adventures on their own two feet - also have a particularly good time at our HOTEL LIEBE SONNE in Sölden. In principle, our hotel is of course open to all guests. If you have any special needs, please contact us! Our reception team will always endeavour to find a good solution for you.
Yes, pets are allowed in certain rooms and suites at the HOTEL LIEBE SONNE in Sölden. Due to the increased cleaning effort, we have to charge a service fee for your four-legged friends. We ask for your understanding.
In principle, we rent out our rooms and suites in winter with our tried and tested pampering board and in summer as an "all-inclusive light" package. Our culinary offer has proven itself in the past, as our guests are well catered for around the clock. If you would like to make a different arrangement, simply contact our reception team and we will see what options we have for you.
Sölden is known for legendary parties that last all night, that's true. However, Sölden has also evolved and today stands for a stylish way to celebrate après-ski. Our windows are multi-glazed and if you keep them closed, you won't hear any street noise. If you want to sleep with the windows open, we recommend a room facing the mountain. Then you will hear at most a cowbell from a distance. (And this is outside our sphere of influence).
The HOTEL LIEBE SONNE is located in the centre of Sölden. All après-ski pubs (at least the ones we know) are so close that you can reach them on foot. This is particularly important to make sure you get back home safely! Three locations even belong to the HOTEL LIEBE SONNE. The umbrella bar directly in front of our hotel invites you to stop for a bite to eat after skiing. The PUB ALMRAUSCH serves cool cocktails and hot beats at a later hour. The music is even more danceable in the legendary FIRE & ICE club, where night owls can dance into the early hours...
Everything goes, nothing has to. This also applies to après-ski in Sölden. If you want to stay away from the party people, you can do so. In our HOTEL LIEBE SONNE we have a classic hotel bar where you might want to treat yourself to a nightcap. Otherwise, you can simply retire to your room or suite and the après-ski in Sölden will pass you by without a trace.
