Did you know that the Sölden ski resort is one of the best and largest ski and snowboard centres in Europe? From October to May its 150 well-groomed slopes and stunning mountain landscapes attract countless skiers and snowboarders. Snow cannons guarantee perfect snow conditions on over 90km of pistes! The modern lifts can carry up to 68,000 passengers per hour, thus relieving you of the inconvenience of queuing and making it even more pleasurable to spend a ski holiday in Sölden.

The pistes range from blue to red to black − beginners have plenty of room to practice and pros can enjoy their challenges quite undisturbed. The Sölden ski resort is the only one in Austria with three 3,000ers, which are accessible by lift. The so-called BIG 3, i.e. the Gaislachkogl, the Tiefenbachferner, and the Rettenbach glaciers, also feature great viewing platforms offering stunning panoramas. In the right weather conditions, the all-round view stretches over 100 kilometres to the Dolomites and the Zugspitze − just gorgeous. The well-trained ambitious can try their hand at the BIG 3 Rally, a magnificent 50km-long ski circuit embracing the entire area. The starting point is right next to our hotel, at the valley terminal of the Giggijoch cable car.

The Almdudler snowpark scores high with the daredevils: 6 hectares of rails, boxes, kickers, and more for freeride fans to enjoy the more thrilling side of the Sölden ski resort. A chill-out zone with loungers and music entertainment is also available – a place where like-minded people can meet up and bask in the warm sun at 2,450m.
